Sure, we’re supposed to be so homophobic, which isn’t the truth; we’d like to believe that Black gays didn’t exist – but they do and we know it and we can’t even plausibly deny this… since there are a lot of Black gays and bisexuals.

So, NOM’s idea, at best, is wishful thinking and, if anything, smacks of being rather racist – as if there are no white gay folks wanting to get married. If they wanted to drive in a wedge, this would be their best bet since there are more gay whites than anything else in this country – but I guess it’s okay to be white, gay, and married, huh?
